| The new Kent Razor Blade rider scrubber combines productivity and safety in one compact machine. | Minneapolis, MN - The new Kent Razor® Blade compact rider scrubber increases productivity and cleans areas that bigger, bulkier scrubbers can’t reach. The machine’s compact size enables it to maneuver in tight spaces including elevators and aisles, making it ideal for convenience stores, healthcare and educational facilities, retail and commercial spaces and office buildings. “The Razor Blade rider scrubber is extremely compact – less than the width of a door – allowing it to clean areas previously accessible only with a mop,” says Linda Dohse, brand manager for Kent. “The scrub deck provides a wider cleaning path so cleaning is completed quickly and efficiently.” Maximum productivity for the 26-inch scrub deck model is 42,000 square feet per hour and 46,200 square feet for the 28-inch model. The Razor Blade scrubber’s large, tools-free interchangeable scrub deck is available in 26” disc, 28” disc or 28” cylindrical deck models. The Razor Blade rider is safe and easy to use for any operator. A tight turning radius of 59-inches allows maximum maneuverability, while the exclusive STAR (Speed on Turns Automatically Reduced) steering keeps the operator in control, no matter how quick or how sharp the turn. This greatly reduces the chances of employee injury or damage to the facility. The large 20-gallon solution tank is easy to clean and features the Eco System™ solution system. Eco System pre-sets the solution ratio to the optimal flow rate, eliminating excess use of water and detergent and improving safety by leaving less moisture on the floor. The machine comes standard with four six-volt batteries. Gel batteries are available as an option. Also standard is an onboard wet/gel compatible battery charger, allowing for convenient charging without a charging station and preventing stolen and broken chargers.
